Prospective Leadership

TRUE POLITICAL LEADERSHIP

Does my leader have a vision for Missouri?

Can I help build the strength of the nation through my voting choices?

Good political leaders want the people to be united. They are willing to sacrifice self importance to get the hard work done and ensure that each citizen has an equal voice.  As serious issues arise good leaders must have the ability to bring people together and have the will to provide action plans that compliment the common threads of society as a whole.  Voters should demand excellence from their leaders.

Excellent political leadership must be concealed in an armor of dedication that is used to build the strength of the people’s voice. Many in Washington and many voters are clinging to the security of big money and big party ideologies causing both to sacrifice the essence of their vote and authentic representation of the people.  Fighting and distrust has made current political strengths of the past weak and unreliable. The extreme support of the elite right and socialistic left demonstrates the lack of many current leaders to represent the needs of the majority of Americans.

Understanding the needs of the people should be the mightiest force in solving problems today.  Reliable leaders are not concerned with being the boss, gaining recognitions by holding a position or being in charge.  Righteous political leaders will protect the views of the people they represent at all times. This takes additional preparation, teamwork, and diligence above and beyond a free ride on the coattails of big money and party majority leaders.

Positive expectations are never a substitute for doing the easy wrong over the difficult right of working hard to keep one's promises and fulfill one's pledge to serve others. Leaders must recognize that there are no successes without struggle, opposition, and troubles.  Perseverance to solve problems when they arise and face them head on to complete the peoples work must be aligned with the leaders will to carry out their promises to serve the people and the nation.

A good political leader will credit their power to the strength of their loyalty to the people they are representing.  Recognizing and admitting ones shortfalls should not be enough in the political arena; continued efforts must result in reform or the leader is merely appeasing voters to keep their support.  Additionally a good political leader will not focus on slander, or scorn colleagues to create a favorable perception of their own actions. The actions of dependable Leaders will always align with the expectations created by their promises and they will insure that their problem solving and voting record is aligned with the courage to act Sensibly and keep their promises regardless of extrinsic influences.
