HEALTH CARE
If you do not contact our representatives and tell them to join the repeal efforts, illegitimate deliberations and pork barrel packing will continue to form Americas Health Care System. If we do not stop and take sufficient time to build functional legislation we will continue to go broke getting very little. Every time the government provides you with everything you need it also takes some of your freedoms and liberties.
The economy is linked to every Government program and usually suffers when federal programs limit free trade. This style of making laws just to prove who’s carrying the biggest stick has not accomplished the advertised intent. Additionally it increased the size of government putting us further in debt with little to no payoff.
We should have stopped arm wrestling and focused on the economy, putting money back into the pockets of the people, and paying off our dept created by similar congressional shortfalls and disputes. I greatly support any true influence that stems from legitimate cooperation from all representatives regardless of their party. Passing important legislation should always start with what can be agreed upon, and implemented in manageable phases. Disagreements should be worked out in separate legislation, deliberated in fair and reasonable time frames. If this would have been done from the beginning many needy citizens would have already received some care for pennies on the dollar in comparison to what congressional fighting has created. Our problems were not created in a day and we should not try to solve them in a single misguided endeavour.
The president displayed his strongest actions since he took office. He asked our representatives to work together to get the country a workable answers on how to provide improved health care to the most needy Americans. Because of the continued use of quid-pro-quo practices and strong arming by senior party members the American people grew very tired of the fighting. The president’s inability to lead a bipartisan effort resulted in the wrongful strong-arming of his original far left objectives.
One can never throw money at a problem and expect it to go away. Especially money we do not have. The bottom line is weather tax payers are willing to pay trillions of dollars so that less than ten percent of Americans receive some form of health insurance assistance.
As a nation with high values we cannot ignore the need of many Americans for direct medical care. It would be hard to believe that very many Americans would not be willing to provide a helping hand to those who cannot provide for themselves with efficient medical care. The primary goal of this heath care bill was suppose to bring the cost of health care down for everyone and provide improved care to those who cannot provide for themselves.
My greatest goal to accomplish and most relentless efforts will go toward uniting all of Missouri’s representation in the future when issues of grandeur like this one arise. These types of issues are too important to allow party influences that work against our state. The more Missouri representatives come together to vote for the needs of our state over high power influences, the closer we will come to regaining your respect. Representatives should welcome; if not plead for, your continued support through criticism and should be thankful for your opinions as well as listen to you over any other voice.
The nation can gradually correct the shortfalls in our health care system at a tenth of the cost. I plan to continue to voice Missourians needs and research recovery methods for the health care way ahead. 2010 and 2011 will be crucial for the recovery phase of the residual effects of this bill. Ensure you are voting for candidates who will fight together to recover and mitigate all aspects that will cost the majority of Missourians extra money without getting additional benefits. We need to come together in times of need by supporting sensible actions.
